Tacoma, Washington USA
Bio: Hello - Originally my name was Brown, an Irish American family from Stevensville, Pennsylvania. I am a life-long resident of the State of Washington and have served the state in many ways. During the 1990's I was a twice elected as a precinct committee officer in Franklin County, WA and was appointed by two governors to serve on the Washington Rehabilitation Council. When I lived in the City of Spokane, I became aware of the Spokane C.O.P.S. program. The foundation of this program is the civilian community oriented policing concepts of the Department of Justice. I successfully attended its front desk training program and the experiences I received gave me a great appreciation for community oriented policing. After moving to Tacoma, WA, I continued my service in pubic safety as a correctional chaplain with the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. I have a long and establish history in social service and mental health programs. I am a parent of two adult developmentally disabled individuals and they have greatly enhanced my life with skills and rewarding experiences. I enjoy spending time with friends and family and enjoy a few sports. I hope you enjoy my wordpress articles.
